General Service Committee

The General Service Committee (GSC) is the operative arm of Catholic Renewal Ministries (CRM) and is responsible for planning, initiating, and successfully executing CRM activities. The GSC hosts the annual Catholic charismatic conference in the Cleveland Diocese and other events which promote charismatic renewal in the diocese.

The GSC is composed of the Bishop's Liaison, Fr. Robert Franco (Pastor of St. Peter's in North Ridgeville, Ohio) and about twenty lay leaders of the various CRM ministries and subcommittees. The GSC is currently chaired by Ken Posavad, kposa@sbcglobal.net.

Healing Ministry - The appointed team of Catholic Renewal Ministries who minister prayer for physical, emotional and spiritual healing at the annual conference, at Healing Masses, and at various programs throughout the diocese.	Marge Zampino 216-328-9542
Word gifts ministry - A group who gather to pray together and who minister the chrisms of prophecy, words of knowledge, and words of exhortation at the annual conference and at numerous workshops and mini-conferences held throughout the year.

Music Ministry - Various musicians and worship leaders available for events and to assist prayer groups in the diocese. Members also provide music ministry at the monthly CRM Traveling Charismatic Masses.	Ken Posavad kposa@sbcglobal.net

We are an organization of Catholic Christians dedicated to the renewal of the Church (ad intra) and the world (ad extra) in the power of the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Charismatic Renewal is born of, and sustained by, the wondrous outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our day, "... as at a new Pentecost" (Pope John XXIII). We are part of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, within the Secretariat for Parish Life and Development and serve as the umbrella organization for the officially recognized Catholic charismatic prayer groups in the diocese.
